Healing circles are safe and sacred spaces

 A healing circle is a safe and sacred space that depends on the equal contribution of all members in the circle.  You can find connection to many different healing circles here.  

  1. Mindful self-compassion for health care workers, people with chronic disease and people in recovery. 
  2. Racial Healing Circles for community members, health care professionals and organizations.
  3. Transition to success  to create a path out of poverty.

Resilient nurses

 Resilient nurses use dynamic compassion to support themselves, other nurses and society.  Dynamic compassion uses both self-compassion and fierce compassion to creatively and effectively enable nurses to meet the needs of a ever changing world.   Classes and retreat experiences will soon available to improve the health and wellness for nurses by creating more resilient nurses.

I have been honored to be part of TRHT (Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation) in the Lansing Michigan site as an facilitator and ambassador.  Over the past three years we have held racial healing circles in many communities in Lansing and Saline.  We have also worked with many organizations such as the MAC conference and Michigan State University.

In times of stress it helps to have a "go to" meditation that can connect us to a sense of loving flow with the universe by inhaling into gratitude and exhaling into trust.
